Eric, my old and dear friend. News of you passing is just getting to your high school friends from Hawaii and I am so brokenhearted to know that you are no longer with us.
That said, I feel so lucky to have known you, and to have spent such crucial years together in school. And reading all of the words here of those who knew you better in adulthood, you made the same impression on all of them as you did on us in your adopted home. You were one of a kind, and will be missed.
